POTW: Dee
Funky Fresh
Delia comes ready to play every week! In between doing some dance sessions on dead balls, she's hustling every where. She also has really great hands and brings an indoor feel to her sets. They are soft without a lot of spin. It's always refreshing to see someone who brings a competitive edge to the game.
Strays Find Their Home At The Top
The Strays Take The Finals
The Wednesday night finals at softcore volleyball were buzzing with energy. Net Threat and So You Think You Can Spike battled it out for a place in the final game. Both teams played valiantly but in the end SYTYCS took the win. The final game was between The Strays and SYTYCS. Two teams who have played well all season and met again on the final stage. The first game was a struggle for the Strays as they came in cold and worked to get their synchronicity together. SYTYCS flowed and used their latest win as motivation and had high energy. Robert P. was killing it at the net while Mr. Stout made some mighty fine blocks and attacks. They Strays came back though and got to 25 with the aid of Rina's solid passing and Jeremy's punishing serves. The Strays found their groove in the second game and both teams got in some great rallies which elevated the level of play. Kami and Jeremy had some solid swings at the net with some great digs on the other side of the net by Carrie. The Strays took the second and third games and solidified their place at the top. Both teams played with great heart and had a splendid time doing it. Congrats to both teams and we wish The Strays the best at midcore next season!
