When Danny Lashley needs to get to a ball, he can't let his footwear hold him back. That was the attitude he took when trying to dig a ball in Game 1 of Spiked Punch's 2 games to 1 victory over 2 Legit 2 Hit on Wednesday night. Showing no regard for his own safety, Danny left his shoe behind in trying to keep alive a ball that was hit outside of the boundary lines. His play seemed to relax and inspire his teammates and spurred a hard fought 2 games to 1 victory for his team. It's this type of effort that embodies the true Underdog Spirit of "do your best, with or without proper footwear". Way to go Danny! You're the Player of the Week!
