For the past few seasons at Sewallcrest, Marques has been known as the muscle-bound guy you don't want to kick to. He has a propensity for tracking down the most unreachable kicks and hauling them in effortlessly for instant outs. His offense however, was spotty this season, and his team let him know about it. The butt of their joke (at least until this week) Marques placed kick after kick just over the third basemen's head Sunday, getting on the basepaths and letting his athleticism carry him home. Nice job Marques! Keep it up!
