Veteran USL volleyballer Scott Shewbridge kicks off the summer sand VB season at Eastmoreland with our Player of the Week! While his team, Sand Team 2, is still trying to come up with a clever name, Scott has other things on his mind and that's dominating the sand courts every time out. His net work was in fine form as he managed to put up effective blocks against aggressive offense by RiDIGulous. Sand Team was victorious in the first set due to Scott's killer serves which skimmed net and created much havoc for the defense. While Sand Team fell in sets 2 and 3, Scott continued to rally the squad with his energy and fighting spirit. Great way to start off the sand VB season Scott!
