After "rolling" over the Elbow Benders in their first game of the night 622 to 484, Hell on Wood finished off the night with a 571 to 503 victory over Sweet Sweet China. HOW started the night off hot, as Jeremy Huffman and Carrie Fenelon each led off the game with 5 straight spares. James Ryland then finished off the 1st game with 5 straight strikes. Their games cooled off a little in the second game, but they were still able to win back to back Big Turkey Bowling titles. One more title and we can talk about Carrie Fenelon in the same breath as the great Tom Emanski (winner of back to back to back AAU baseball titles). I hear her video on bowling fundamentals is already in the works.
Hell on Wood is the team to beat, and this week, James bowled very well. Game one he threw 6 strikes and 1 spare for a 175. Game 2 it was 5 strikes and a spare for a 170. Nobody on this team ever bowls below 100, but this was James' week to bowl well. Good job buddy!
Kuddos musy go out to Cam Levine for having an amazing second game. Unfortunatley it was agreed upon before the game that his score wouldn't count (too many guys) but I wanted to acknowledge his amazing score. He had 10 strikes and a spare for an incredible 255!! WOW CAM!!!!!
