In a nailbiter versus the upstart and undefeated Powell Park Playaz the Sunday Touchdowns prevailed in heroic fashion. Leading for most of the game, they held off a late game charge from the Playaz with a go ahead TD by Steve Richard. After the playaz came back to get close, the STD's denied them on a critical 2 point conversion to seal the game and the title.
Steve Caught the go ahead touchdown in the championship game to put the Sunday Touchdowns up for good in the last game of the season. Nice work Steve!!
In the inagural USL flag football game in Portland, Nate stood out. Nat efinished the game with two interceptions, including one in his own end zone that stopped a Blood Bath and Beyond scoring drive. He could also be seen flying around the field knocking down BB and B passes left and right.
