Playoffs! Angey Tilley picked off an OJ's DNA pass and returned it for a touchdown. The score broke a long time 7-7 tie. Safely Blitzed went on to win. Then in the following game they upset the undefeated Indy# 1 team.
Player of the week: This week's player of the week hails from the "Safely Blitzed" team. After Lynee Halvorson had allready made several great plays, she threw a touchdown from half-field. The puzzled defensive back was found wandering the parking lot mumbling, "I didn't think she could throw it that far."
Angye Tilley threw, caught, and pulled her way to the player of the week leading Safely Blitzed to victory.
Nick Weber Safely Blitzed the Snukes all day at Alder Creek Middle School. He ended up with 5 sacks plus a few pulls that prevented first downs. He helped his team to a 20-0 win over the up and coming Snukes.
