After playing a close game with indy, Hannah offered to pick up with suck my discus in the final game. Throughout the 2 hours, she bearly had the chance to rest.
Chrissy had her first point of The Underdog ultimate season. I quick pass in the end zone. She evaded her defender long enough to make the catch.
After playing the closest game in Underdog Ultimate history, Hannah was nominated for bringing so much energy to the game. Nice!
Ian donned the sweet (and uber functional) kilt at the games Sunday and is this weeks POTW. We totally feel ya on the comfort thing Ian, just please don't try too hard for those higher catches.
Disc-iples had never played together... or even met, for that matter, before the game. And yet they took the opening pull and marched down the field with a slick combination of short tosses and timely cuts to score on the very first possession of Underdog Ultimate! Maybe it had something to do with showing up a little early to throw and talk strategy. Maybe it was destiny. Did they pull out the game? Well, no... Damaged Goods gets honorable mention for also bringing the smooth offense on opening day. But it was the perfect start to the league, and a great game overall.
