The standings were tight heading into the second week of playoffs. All the teams were within one to two games of one another. It no doubt would be a great night of volleyball. Balls in Yo Face and Good Game started the challenge on court 1 while Rock & Sets on the Beach battled it out on court 2. Good Game showed up to the game ready to intimidate by brining out all the stops with additions to their uniforms. They stepped up their outfits adding tube socks, wristbands, headbands, & tattoos. They were a team ready to play!!! Balls in you face took them by surprise as they captured the first game. Good game seemed to be rattled, but heading into game two they regained composure and took game two and three taking them to the championship round. The Rock made things happen tonight, they were going big or going home! Sets on the Beach game them a good run, but the Rock held strong taking a 3-0 victory.
This left the Rock and Good Game, no name to settle it on the court for the championship round! Rock as usual came out calm and confident, this style worked for them as they continued to drive in the points. They caught Good game on their heels and they never looked back. Rock covered every inch of the floor and did a great job reading one another moves. Their serves and skills at the net won them the 1st game. The jitters seemed to get the best of Good Game, no name in game two they just couldn't seem to find their rhythm. Don't worry this didn't stop them from having fun, their glitter remained in tact and they went down graciously. Rock held strong to their ranking and took Good Game down in two. Well played Rock!
If someone tried there was no way they could have executed what Lauren did tonight. Lauren went in with all her might to take her hit to the ground, what she didn't plan on was bouncing the ball off their heads and taking a headband with it. The reaction from both teams was great, sheer disbelief and laughter!
Kelly gets the POTW, with her amazing magicians skills. Her determination actually allowed the ball to stop on the net. Everyone watched as the ball teetered, stopped and then fell to the opposing side. That play got people excited a cheering. Everyone better be sure to watch out next week, who knows what is up her sleeve!
Tim is a true underdog player! He is always having fun on the court, while making some crazy good plays! Not to mention he hooked his team up with some sweet yellow shirts 
