First Place

Winter Co-ed Bowling Sundays at Hollywood Bowl 6pm

After a great winter season of Hollywood Big Turkey Bowling, the final championship lanes were filled with great teams. Heavily favored Holy Rollers and the returning champs, We Hate People each started their first games against the, less favored, Mindz in Da Gutter and Pinheads. The Holy Rollers started off the night right with some great bowling from each member. Julie's 180 and Austin's 178 games pushed them just out of reach, though Mindz all bowled solid games. In the next lanes, WeHate People struggled early on as the Pinheads put together their great first win. With both Eric and Chris of Pinheads scoring 197 and 182, respectively, they really seemed to be getting their roll on.

The No Tap Game seemed to be over after the first half of the night with Smooth Balls on Hard Wood reeling those NT coupies in. Across the lanes, Spring Chickens and Lickety Splits both tried to pull it out all the nines from the rest of the season. But it was Don't F Wit Da Jesus that were crowned in the end. Their second game was a No-tap frenzy. I mean really. One after another. All while trying to convince the world they had the most spirit in the league. Their valiant effort got them just one shy of the big Spirit Prize. Who's got the most Spirit of Sunday BTB, you ask? The Lickety Splits! With a full season of lane dances, theme night shinanigans and team building put downs, was it any question?

The final match up between The Holy Rollers and Pinheads was epic. Chris of Pinheads really picked up his game to cap out for the night at 205. The Holy Rollers kept the game close throughout, though! I have to say it may have been the switch from beer to soda between games that could slowed the Holy roll just that teensie little bit. Both teams rolled great games, but it was Pinheads who pushed ahead to win by a mere three pin margin. What a match. The Holy Rollers kept smiling, and the Pinheads shook their heads in disbelief. Honestly, so did I. Great bowling Pinheads!

A great second game for Chris brought Pin Heads to a great win of three points against their former teammates turned nemesis, Minds in Da Gutter. Great game Chris!
