What a Wednesday night! Semi-finals had Beastie Balls and Rolling Rocks facing off in a fierce competition along with Hardcore XXX and Cactus Steve Thunder Kittens. Beastie Balls came out on top to face Hardcore XXX in the finals. It was a CLOSE game (by 4 pins) and Justin of Beastie Balls managed to pull off a rare 7-10 split, which may have pushed his team to the win. Both teams were still racking up Big Turkey's (and prize tickets) while they knocked down the pins--a truly impressive game!
Over on Lanes 29 and 30, Cactus Steve Thunder Kittens and Rolling Rocks bowled it out, with Rolling Rocks coming out on top to claim third place.
Pete's Peeps won the Spirit Competition--it may have been the pink leotard or the always entertaining dancing and general high spiritedness throughout the season, but it was well earned! Honorable mentions go to Split Happens, Dolls and Balls and Living on a Spare--dream big guys, there is always next season!
There was a tie for No Tap Champions, and the title went to Balls and Dolls. Their high rolling game and numerous No Taps made them the winners. Shout outs to Scorgasm and Split Happens for a fine No Tap showing!
Brad, Brad, Brad! POTW goes to Brad Stanwood from Beastie Balls. Brad's performance in Game 1 was stellar--even at the end (ahem). He rolled his way to victory and picked up a Turkey along the way. Way to go Brad!
