It's the end of summer sand volleyball at Eastmoreland, and the sad thing is we never learned what a JERB is???? No matter, JERB is composed of four fabulous athletes who pound it out all summer long to come out victorious in the Softcore 1 division on Thursdays. JERB brings along an entourage of fans every week and they were particularly supportive in their championship game vs. Green Bombers. In a nail-biter of competition, JERB and Green Bombers traded games one apiece before JERB put an end to the match with a final game victory and championship to claim. Whatever you are JERB, we like it and salute your victory!
Team JERB can always depend on Lorrie Clifford to provide the electricity in performance! She proves it every time she digs her feet in sand to get ready for competition. Lorrie is a diver and setter and she excels when she's on defense, but can throw up a pretty mean serve too. We have no idea what JERB stands for, but the team is lucky to have Lorrie's enthusiasm and SPARK to keep them always in contention. And they provide it Thursday at Eastmoreland Courts with a 2-1 set match vs. JV Wrestling Team with Lorrie in the lead!
