Could it be that fate had it's way with the 2011 Cartlandia Cornhole Tournament? Corn on the 4th of July had several things go their way to emerge as champs in what turned into an epic day of bean-bags, burgers, beers and soccer.
If you're into such things we submit to you some numerical evidence that indeed the #7 was lucky for these two, Corn on the 4th-ers.
We heard rumors early on that they were on their 7th date. This new-ish couple couldn't have picked a more romantic getaway as the pavement on 82nd is really nice this time of year.
Also, they played exactly 7 matches to win the championship. And to be honest that's about where the 7's thing kinda peters out, but we'd like to think that it was meant to be.
