Peter Griffen is what inspired the great show Family Guy but this Peter Griffen is real! He came on the like a whirl wind of angry hugs taking over the gym.
In the 1st match, he went a record breaking 9/0 hit to out ratio with an impressive performance. To top it off, he never once got out. He battled with the help of the dodgeball gods on his side. A couple of times in the match he was facing an overwhelming obstacle 6 against 1. But with those gods on his side, he escaped their throws while they all suffered his wrath one by one.
Peter came to play and when it was all done, if you looked closely, you could see him surrounded by a glow similar to an aura while levitating. Congratulations to the player of the week, Peter Griffen.
The Angry Hugs were thrilled to be back dodging balls at The Friendly House in another USL season. But none was more excited than Scott Knackstedt.
Scott was influenced by the great 80's movie, Flashdance. He showed up with nimble feet and great enthusiasm, ready to play. While on the court, He showed everybody his sweat dance moves in celebration when he would get someone out. When he himself got out, he would become their team's biggest cheerleader showing great excitement. We even saw him jump for joy kicking his legs up when his team would win.
Scott was definitely feeling the beat and ready to play and for that he well deserves the Player of the Week award. Congratulations.
