Malia is an all around model kickball player. She brings the heat up to kick and in the outfield. She made numerous game saving clutch catches in the outfield, and kicked the ball with power and skill for each at bat. Malia showed great sportsmanship for her fellow teammates, and helped them score their highest scoring game yet! Way to go Malia!
It's difficult to capture the amount of energy that Floyd brings to each game in just one paragraph. Floyd not only assertively took responsibility in leading his Indy team, but also consistently ensured that his team was having fun. It was not long before he had even engaged the opposing team in a friendly conversation. Despite the results of the game, Floyd continuously encouraged his teammates to stay engaged the game. Several teammates even noted that "This was the most fun I've ever had!"
Outstanding energy, a positive attitude, and an exceptional athlete, Floyd continuously embodies the Underdog spirit. Great job Floyd!
Matt Pierce was unanimously voted by his teammates for being player of the game. He helped get his team onto the board by scoring their first run with some stellar base running skills, but his help didn't stop there! He made some clutch plays in the field with some catches and throwing runners out. Matt proved a great team leader by high fiving and cheering on his team.
