In the opening match between Hertz Donut and the HAM Boppers the Boppers fell 6-2 but the score wasn't indicative of the dodgeball action that took place. Each game ended with merely a few players left on the court and easily could of gone in the favor of either team. Determined to not leave the Friendly House with a W, the HAM Boppers' captain Liz Lewis, who shined in the first match, took her game to another level in their next match against the skilled Got Balls? Squad.
Lewis unloaded sneaky and deceptive ankle-biting shots and was catching balls like Jerry Rice game after game keeping the odds heavily in favor of the Boppers. The very vocal captain kept spirits high and the ego's in check as the Boppers nearly swept the Got Balls? team with a final score of 5-1.
