After a stellar regular season, Big City Slams completed their ascension with a convincing win over Gym Class Heroes in the semis, moving on to a fast-paced championship victory over Kick Pro Quo. With some excellent defense by Stacy and Red, along with some incredible plays in RF by Audrey, the game was never in doubt. Great job Big City Slams!
After a rough first game on the field and at the plate for Big City Slams, Joey put it all together in the back half of their doubleheader, lacing an absolutely perfect ball down the right field line, landing squarely on the foul line, and hopping DEEP past the right fielder for an easy 3-run homer. Pairing that offense with some sound defensive plays at 3rd, Joey more than earned a shoutout this week.
