First Place

Summer Vancouver Co-Ed Kickball at Luke Jensen Park (Turf) Sundays

We Got the Runs was a team with a pun for every occasion, whether it be "wipe it up" to cheer for a good defensive inning, or "runs!" in hopes of an inning of explosive kicks. Today they were on fire, finding a grueling opponent in Glazed Donuts in the Semi-Finals, and then fighting an offensive showdown against Menace to Sobriety in the Championship game. This was a game of kicks galore! Both sides slammed the ball over the fence in a high scoring duel that ended with We Got the Runs defeating Menace to Sobriety 19 - 12. We Got the Runs were the self declared underdogs in this match, but they walked away true victorious Underdogs as the Underdog League Champs. Congrats on an awesome season!

Chase Harper brings style and athleticism to a new levevl

We Got the Runs

Chase arrived today for his match adorned with spirit, sportsmanship, and a classic Flint Tropics jersey (and matching short shorts!). He brought style and class to his team and the day which in itself is a great feat and deserves much praise. But Chase wasn't compensating for a lack of skill by his abundance of flair, making a spectacular catch from the ground to snag a pop fly and secure an out. Great job Chase!
