It was a game dubbed the "Pink Visor Game". Even though these two teams were playing for a championship, pride sunk in when a player put up a pink visor on the net to make it more interesting.
Darrin Osborn from Practicing Safe Sets had created a distraction by drinking margaritas and posting up that pink visor he won on the net....just to make the game more colorful.
This strategic move proved to backfire on them as they fell to the crafty team of Spike Club. In the 2nd game and Spike Club with a 7 point lead Collier took the ball to serve. The ball was up in the air and Darrin reminiced of the foot-to-boob shot that he and Kendle made earlier in the day. As both of them laugh hysterically, the ball just dropped right in front of them like a mortor bomb landing at their feet.
This game #2 proved to be very challenging to Safe Sets because their constant out burst of laughter from through out the day. Spike Club noticed that and took full advantage as they beat Practicing Safe Sets in 2 straight games to win the Championship.
The 1st annual sand volleyball tournament proved to be a successful one as a champion was born with bragging rights for a whole year. Congratulations to Spike Club!
