The big 3-0 can be interpreted many different ways. It can mean that you are undefeated or that you are reaching a mile stone in your life. For Alan Moran from Sweaty Yetis it means that he is 30 years young.
At 18 we reach a mile stone for many different reasons. At 21 we are able to do many other things like play Underdog Sports. At 30 it means that you are feeling good especially if you share it with us at Underdog. That is exactly what Alan did. Not only did he come out to play flag football under the lights, but he also played better than most players running and jumping in the air making grabs and pulling flags. The best thing about all this is that he would have had fun even if he didn't do all this on the field.
Alan has the right spirit and attitude when playing football and that is what makes him stand out above most people. He is the 1st one to shake your hand and say "great play".
The Sweaty Yetis love having him around and so do we! Because of his contagious spirit and great time, we give Alan Moran the Player of the Week Award. Congratulations and a big Happy Birthday!
Numm, numm, numm, numm.....
These are the famous words of the beloved Cookie Monster. Under the lights and on the field The Cookie Monster makes his presence known as he broke out of Cookie Rehab to make an appearance with us for the opener of Thursday Night Football.
It looks like he is good friends with the team Sweaty Yetis and even stepped on the field to have a few snaps at the QB position. He only came off the field because he didn't want to show every body up.
Who knows what the real reason is why he came off the field, but he did make his presence known while he was there. By association, The Sweaty Yetis get the Team of the Week Award and the Matt Orenchuck gets the Player of the Week Award for bringing him out. Congratulations guys, keep bringing the fun!
