It was the final day of the playoffs for the Soft Core championship at King School Park. The sun of the afternoon on the faces of the players, it was the combo play of the identical twins, Eric and Matt that really brought the heat today. As one pitched, not one, but two complete games, the other provided the wheels around the infield and outfield. True to the team name, they even attempted a stealth move to switch positions to trick the opponent. All in good fun, these two helped lead Stealth R Us to the Championships. Congrats!
It was a sunny Sunday. The heat was oppressive. The sweat poured from foreheads like Multnomah Falls. Balls were kicked and lost in the light. And then! What sound from yonder team base breaks! It was the Beastie Boys, softly crooning their melodies from an iPod, or something. It may not have been much, but it was enough. Thanks to Stealth R Us for keepin' the jams alive.
