Rick Close from Team Sandy Balls started the night off right. He showed up early, warmed up, and bought a pitcher of beer for his team. He really hit the jackpot in the sand winning the first set 21 to 11. However with Rick's saves, Stevanie's spikes, Jill's perfect hits and Sam's roll in the sand wasn't enough to finish the night with three wins. At least he found some money in the sand...and stuck around for more volleyball fun. Great night Rick!
Rick and Jill from The Sandy Balls showed up early and in gear with their neon team spirit shirts on. Jill had her crystal ball on the court knowing ahead of time whether the ball would land in or out. Rick stuck around to cheer on the next set of games however ended up jumping in as a sub for The Woodrats. Best play of the night was this duo's successful dive keeping the team's spirits alive for a 2 to 1 win.
