The 6:00pm game between Whoa Bundy vs. Team Go!(to the 16th power) lived up to the hype and then some on the frozen tundra of Lewis & Clark field on Sunday.
Trailing late in the game with a few precious minutes remaining, Team Whoa Bundy gathered in a huddle, attempted to warm themselves up for a few seconds, and then set out on a great game winning drive. PK made her presents felt early on the drive with an amazing tip-toe catch on the sidelines. As the ball was being caught by PK on the sidelines, two defensive players ran right by her expecting her to fall out of bounds. No chance of that happening with the game on the line...PK kept her balance, spun around and picked up another five yards to extended the drive and eventually hard fought victory.
Nice frozen footwork PK...you proved the temperature had nothing to do with the skills you brought to the field this evening.
