Long time Fernwood Midcore team, the Homeless Cougar had a great season this year and they weren’t going to end it on anything but earning a championship, and that they did. Only the road wasn’t easy and here how they got there.
First their opponent, and other long time Fernwood team Shaggin Balls had to get to the championship. They played a tough first round game against Ridgulous. In 3 games, Shaggin came out with the win. And after a shirt change, they were ready to take on Homeless who beat Shots on Us in a close 3 game match.
The Cougs were a force to be reckoned with this week. Having back to back games didn’t stop them from making it tough on Shaggin Balls. From serving to hitting and blocking, the Cougars took the championship by storm. They will be back next week to start the run to defend their title in the winter season. Great job all 4 teams and congrats to the Homeless Cougars.
