No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Rowan repeatedly showed this, even when she found her team trailing late into the game on this playoff Tuesday.
Rowan truly embodied the Underdog spirit with her attitude for both teams. For increasing the fun had by all, Rowan is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!
WOW! That word is, effectively, the only way to describe Cameron’s big moment. Cameron of Riot Sox exhibited extraordinary athleticism on his Sportscenter worthy diving stop. While keeping a close game in the top of the 7th, Cameron made a stretched out diving stop on a very hard hit ground ball to first. He was able to pop to his knees and throw the lead runner out at 2nd in the process. The play was easily enough to drop the jaws of all witnesses to the scene. For stunning everyone with his incredible play, Cameron is our player of the week. Congratulations!
