Nathan A. from team Consensual Sets had himself a night! Playing two games back to back, him and his team enjoyed the opening night of sand volleyball. It isn’t often that a player gets awarded player of the week for a single play, but Nathan was resilient in the back row defending a strong hitter from the opposing team! As the hitter approached the ball in the air, Nathan stayed calm and was ready to dig the ball. All he did was hold his forearm out, and the ball flying like a bullet hit his arm and landed on the line on the other side of the net! He got the point for his team and put in so much effort to keep the ball from touching the ground on his side of the net. Not only did Nathan have great plays, but he was smart with the placement of the ball. He was aware of the size of the court and could find real estate on the opponents side of the net. Way to start the season Nathan!
