Sunny warm night for the final game of the season BFRO vs PC and it didn’t disappoint. Lots of big plays, flashing leather and arms.
Cucumbers were playing shut down D, holding runners on base and limiting runs.
Offense wasn’t quiet either. Lots of big hits and hustle was more than enough for the Cucumbers to stay cool.
Cool as a cucumber indeed. Doing what they do, the PC’s were on display again. Big Erin was doing his usual base knock bombs to RF, with RBI’s sprinkled in there.
Tonight he also added the catch of the night for sure and maybe season?!? Diving full extension nab in LC filed. Nice work.
It was a sunny, cool, as a cucumber night, which was perfect for a game. The Vipers were ready to strike but PC would get first at bat and do the first of the scoring, never to look back.
Jewels, captain, was taking charge behind the plate, helping the pitchers find the zone. Adding a big hit and a lot of hustle around the bases, it was a good night. Fence or no fence the cucumbers can’t be pickled.
