What a night! In the semi-final game, Huevos Grandes put up a great fight against "I can't do the splitz". As it turns out, Huevos split them right down the middle...dividing and conquering. Vanessa lead her team with a score of 155 and Huevos moved on to the championship game.
In the second round, there was a suprise matchup of the #1 seed vs. the #4 seed (Holy Rollers). The Rollers bowled well, starting strong, and Kyle even finished with a score of 171! However, it wasn't enough to crack the Huevos spirit. Huevos didn't have a bowler score under 135. With a nice high average and a total score of 564, Huevos Grandes ended the night celebrating and taking a "championship" team photo. Here's to another great season at Interstate Lanes!
Duke arrived early on "Space Invaders" night to make sure his teammates had the appropriate names listed on their computer screen. Hand Solo was top on the list but all 6 were space related, and worth the early arrival. 6 spirit tickets were awarded and much fun was had. Thank you Duke for exemplifying Underdog Bowling spirit.
The first Player of the Week for Interstate Lanes Late Fall goes to Duke fro Huevos Grandes! Duke showed up early and was ready to get the season started. A long time underdoger, he even showed the supervisor a few bowling tricks! Durning the game Duke was cheering on his team and racking up some serious points for his team. Good work Duke and all of Huevos Grandes!
