Bryce Johnson from Roustabouts is this weeks Co-Ed Player of the week.
Bryce spent his day running around and chasing down Tempermentals QB. While his stat line may not be that impressive, its the effort that he exerted to keep the QB and other players in check from running all over the field.
On offense he had some solid catches as well, but it was really his relentless motor and defensive work that made Bryce this weeks player of the week.
Congrats Bryce!
The 3:00pm game between Roustabouts and Trying not to get fined was a must see game at this point in the season, with both teams fighting for a top playoff position sharing a 3-1 record. Both teams were a bit cautious offensively in the first half, not wanting to make a costly error that could ruin their chances for a much needed victory. The halftime score reflected this conservative approach, with each team within striking distance as the 2nd half kicked into gear.
Leading the charge for Roustabouts in the 2nd half was Dom Eason, a former defensive 1st team all-Underdog player who decided enough was enough..it was time for him to shine. With back to back interceptions and "in your pocket" like coverage skills for the rest of the game, Dom shifted the momentum big time in a matter of minutes, propelling his team to a 55-28 victory and impressive 4-1 recording heading into the final week of the regular season.
