Last night of grass at Oregon park and the weather couldn't be better. It was a great night for volleyball and the teams were maki the most of it. Serves you right came ready, starting and ending strong. Winning all three against the Grassasions, though they were all close in score.
Next up was The Joy of Sets and joyful it was. Win, lose or draw they have fun and make plays. Though it wasn't enough against Serves, as they were in he zone and playing great team ball. Congrats on two nice wins champs!
First match of the night, with the winner advancing to the finals, both teams were ready. Serves you right started out strong and didn't look back after that. They were close games, but we're too much for Grassassins.
Justin was doing his part for the team, making plays at the net and setting his teammates up to hit. Adding some nice hits of his own and tough serves, he had a first and sconces match. Nice job.
Serves you right indeed! This week's POTW goes to Celene from serves your right for, well, her righteous serves! Celene had the skills that pay the bills this week and helped her team defeat Hit or Miss to move onto the playoffs next week.
