Coos Bay Google Interns Team B sliced through the playoffs like a hot knife through butter. They played formidable teams throughout, but emerged victorious. CBGITB dropped their first set against Kiss My Ace after a grueling back and forth. They then went on to win a miraculous five sets in a row against Kiss My Ace and then Set Me Up.....on a Tuesday. CBGITB's fast paced, hard hitting style served them well regardless of their opponent. They the capped off their playoff run and ultimate championship with big smiles and even bigger homemade cookies. Great season Coos Bay Google Interns B Team!
Will the Power Kouple please step forward??? And no, Kouple isn't misspelled 'cause Justin Chi and Brittany Long of Coos Bay Google Interns B Team were the Killer Kouple of the week at Eastmoreland on Tuesday night. Between the two of them, there were literally 8-10 bombs thrown apiece in a relentless assault to victory in three sets over Take A Hit. Duck and cover when Justin and Brittany are at the net 'cause there's no answer for their powerful ability to launch the ball in direct target on the opponent's side. Justin and Brittany seemed to be in a "kompetition" of their own as each one flew higher than the other in a dazzling display of intricate setting followed by unanswerable kills. The Killer Kouple may not be a "kouple" off the floor, but they certainly are on the court with teamwork beyond "kompare"!
