The 7:00pm match between Bomb Dig'gity and Attack Pack featured Sara Owens, a versatile player who was determined to help get her team off to a fast start on opening night at Beaverton Courts. The tone was set early in the first set, with her knack for being at one with the ball & willingness to go horizontal leading her team to a convincing 25-8 victory. Attack Pack kept the pedal to the metal, winning all three sets in convincing fashion and putting everyone on notice they are a team to be reckoned with this fall season.

John Burns was the player of the night! Not only is John a stand up player calling all of the correct rules fairly but he can also spike a ball harder than I've ever seen! Great guy to watch and a great sportsman. His team took the win and each and every game was a close one but they were able to overcome all because of how hard John spikes that ball! Keep up the good work this season!
