Winter Midcore Volleyball at Harriet Tubman Tuesdays

Sarah came to opening night to night ready to start the season off right. She seemed to be right where she needed to be on each play. She made some great saves from out of the net and had a couple great one arm grabs to keep the ball alive. Sarah is graceful yet tough on the court. Great work, keep it up!

Natalie was the epitome of dynamite in her match versus Shaggin Balls! If skills could kill, she'd be at the top of Underdog's Most Wanted. It didn't matter that the odds were stacked against her as a blocker and attacker, she was resilient. Natalie stayed composed all game with clutch defense and kills to keep her team in the running against two tower like males at the net.

Player of the Week was well deserved by Hannie S. of Shots on Us. She helped her team hear the double header for the night by defeating Saved by the Ball. But it was the second night of the game where she shined as her help lead her team to knock off the first seeded Shaggin Balls. She has an amazing angle shot that goes right past their blocker and down in front of the 10 foot line. She is a consistent server and is always focused and ready to make a play.
