POTW: Brad Miller
Westside Warriors
In a close game Brad Miller came up huge; boosting his team to a victory. He was a defensive stopper all day as he had four interceptions, two of which he ran back for touchdowns. He was a force to be reckoned with on offense as well, as he brought down two more touchdown catches. Brad gave his opponents a headache and accounted for almost all the scoring for his team. His great performance earns him the player of the week.

Safely Blitzed
To quote Forest Gump we've had "big rain, little rain, sideways rain..." even ice rain on Lewis and Clark Spring football. Hopefully this was the first of many good weather weeks to come. Valerie Gonzales showed up to celebrate the new spring weather with a long, last minute touchdown catch. She helped her Safely Blitzed team beat IC balls 37 to 15.

Buffalo Gap Bombers
To-nite's player of the week has been deservedly earned by Avery Wright. On a fine Sunday evening, Wright just wouldn't be denied. Either throwing the ball (2 TDs) or catching the ball (TD catches), he could not be stopped. It was a fine display of a complete player.

Tight Ends
Wow! What a game. When AA went up 42 to 41 with under a minute the game and the Tight Ends season was seemingly over. So much so that even the lights went out. After a ten minute intermission to restore the lights. the Tight Ends returned to the field with a solid come back plan. On second and short they completed a small pass up the middle. A timeout was quickly called. From their own end of the field they launched a bomb towards the end zone. Jeff Jordan raced behind his defender, caught the ball, and came down in the end zone for the win!

POTW: Teddy Guerin and Ryan Petersen
Buffalo Gap Bombers
The combination of Teddy Guerin to Ryan Petersen was unstoppable today in both games. They led their team to two victories and a championship while helping put up 100 points on the day. The great passes and catches were fun to watch and largely contributed to their two victories. For this they deserve Co-Players of the week Great week guys.
