It was a beautiful opening night for summer football at Lewis and Clark. Seventy degrees and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Tonight's player of the week came from a game that put newbies Will Figure It Out Later vs. Turf Burn. Eric Sultzer figured it out right away, he scored three long touchdowns for a 40 to 6 win. Good luck to both teams next week!

Many people would be happy with making a first down or maybe a touchdown. Thursday night at Lewis and Clark Jessica Noble caught three first downs and two touchdowns to help her 11th hour team defeat the Outlaws.

It was hard to pick a player of the game in Thursday's match up between the Tight Ends and Less Than Perfect. We had circus catches, long runs, steady drives, and even a little defense. The final score ended up to be 55 to 51 with the Tight Ends on top. When all the dust settled and the votes were tallied, everyone felt Michelle Meneses two gender touchdown passes proved to be the difference.

WOW!!! Did you see that? With no time left the Turf Burn quarterback heaved a ball full-field towards the end zone. Two defensive players went for the sure interception. That's when they collided and tipped the ball. Turf Burn's Justin Stenkamp, who had already ran past the play, put his hands behind himself and caught the ball behind his back.

Fine Tuned Medley
Lauren moss Caught everything tonight and helped her team to two victories and a championship. In her first game of the night she caught three touchdown passes to help secure a victory against Will figure it out later. Lauren also played well on defense which was apparent in the championship game against the Harcore Fun Seekers. She helped her defense allow only 14 points to hold on to a championship victory.
