Fall Midcore Volleyball at Harriet Tubman Tuesdays

Listing all the reasons Jeff "The Vitamix" Simpson is our player of the week would take more space than is available. He played impeccable volleyball, yes. He cheered on not only his teammates, but also cheered loudly for excellent play by his opponent, yup. He displayed fantastic sportsmanship, check. All these alone entitle Jeff to POTW. But one specific play singles Jeff out for this honor. Jeff had the play of the game. No. The play of the week! Nay! THE PLAY OF THE SEASON. On the twenty seventh day of the ninth month of the year two thousand sixteen AD Jeff played defense and dug a ball right into the basketball hoop across the court. To be clear, this wasn't any old basket. It was a swoosh. The crowd went wild and Jeff is our undisputed player of the week.

This week player of the week goes out to the fans! Sara's mom has attended both playoff weeks to cheer on the E! True Volleyball Story. Tonight for their championship match she was prepared with extra supporters and even sparkling water for all of her team.
