Donkeys kick The Sauce for softball title
The Day Donkeys ran away with the Irving Park title 27-7

The Irving Park softball championship was a month in the making. The lovely Oregon weather finally gave us a break and allowed the playoffs to be held. The final game was a match-up between Day Donkey and The Sauce.
To get to the final game Day Donkey beat Soup-A-Stars 18-6, which gave them a bye to the championship. The Sauce held off Fighting Maple Leafs in the bottom of the 7th to win 19-18. They then played Pabst Smear and won 17-12 to advance to the final.
Day Donkey displayed great pitching and defense in the championship allowing no runs through five innings. The Sauce battled back though, after eating some pizza, and managed seven runs in the final two innings. Day Donkey was too much. They brought their bats and put up 27 runs in six innings to take the championship. Congratulations to Day Donkey. They outlasted to Oregon weather and played like champions.

How are Standings Calculated?
Standings shown do not automatically adjust for tiebreakers. Tiebreakers may be adjusted manually prior to playoffs with head-to-head followed by runs/points allowed (or sets lost for Volleyball leagues) as the top 2 criteria. Forfeits may be calculated differently as stated below.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
