Cromartie's Kids
Cromartie's Kids came back this season with an old face, Travis McGuire. Travis suffered a broken finger last season as they were making their playoff run and was out for the rest of the season.
Travis decided to tape it up and while rocking a new head band and all, he helped his team to a victory in the season's opener.
In the 1st half, he made his 1st reception and was asked if his finger hurts. He simply smiled and shows his hand. With his teammates cheering him on and the imaginary fans chanting for him, he is now known as Koko...the 9 fingered man!
Cromartie's Kids played a back to back and Koko continued to make plays for his team when they needed him, helping his team to an amazing come from behind tie and a victory in the 2nd game.
For his valiant effort, we give him the player of the week award!

Abe came out to play as if he served a 10 year prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit with a chip on his shoulder seeking vengeance.
He scored 24 of the 26 points his team racked up on the field today. They say defense leads to offense and that is exactly what he did. He picked the ball off 3 separate times leading into a touchdown for Bambulife.com.
Abe played as if there was no tomorrow, but above all, he was the 1st one to shake everyone's hand displaying his class and sportsmanship.
I give you this week's player of the week, Abe Choe.

Bambulife.com vs Kushtan played today and this game was everything as expected to be. An edge of your seat thriller with great plays and tons of action.
Late in the 1st half, Paul Choe was injured and went off the field. With the game tied and Kushtan's spirits depleted, Bambulife.com acknowledging this and quickly took a 14 point lead. No quarterback to mount a comeback, all Paul can do is watch from the sidelines. Finally, he can't take anymore and re-enters the game. You can see it in his teammates eyes, that he had the "Eye of a Tiger".
I don't know how he did it, but Paul strapped his team on his back and they came back from being down 14 late in the game to tie the game and avoid a loss.
For his crazy talent and ridiculous game play, Paul Choe gets the player of the week award. Congratulations Paul!

When his teammate went down last weekend, Paul Boun decided to take over like Frankenstein on steroids.
In the 1st half, he ran for 2 touchdowns and displayed his nifty, quick feet avoiding tackles while making 1st down after 1st down. Paul displayed his leadership in the 1st half by breaking down the defense play after play.
in the 2nd half, he just continued his flow and game play. Paul added another touchdown and run and passed for 2 more. He lead his troops on offense creating better defense for his team.
Paul Boun was an obvious pick for this weeks player of the week award. Congratulations Paul.

Bambulife.com's YoHan was inspired today by the words of his teammates. He must of been listening to Right said Fred's lyrics before the game...."I'm Too Sexy" because he wore a jersey resembling their outfit, a see through shirt and rocking it out proudly. His teammates were hoping that shirt would make him more aerodynamic on the field making him impossible to keep up with.
YoHan did not disappoint. In the 1st half, he caught catch after catch, helping his team to multiple touchdowns.
Then in the 2nd half, he stepped up his game when he heard the reference and comparison to The Artist Formally Known As Prince...Purple Rain. He continued to make catches, but this time turning them into touchdowns.
He finished the game with 2 touchdowns and 112 receiving yards. After the final whistle blew, he looks over to the side line saying "Game, Blouses!" and for that, we give him the player of the week. Congratulations YoHan

Cromartie's Kids
Cromartie's Kids' Joel Higgins had a great defensive game today. Maybe because he was inspired by "The Leader of the Resistance", John Conner in Terminator Salvation.
Joel was an animal on the field today! He lead his team on defense pulling 4 flag pulls and 2 interceptions. The only thing missing from his game today was a cool facial scar and a ferocious scream. He set the defensive tempo early for his team, rushing the quarterback and creating havoc. Just when it seemed as though he was tired and out of breath, he would find it within himself to make his presence known by picking off the ball, unfortunately, he didn't have enough energy to return the interceptions, but it fired up his team and lead to touchdowns.
Because of Joel's great game play and his uncanny resemblance to Terminator Salvation's John Conner, we give the player of the week award to Joel Higgins. Congratulations and may the resistance live on!

Cromartie's Kids
Cromartie's Kids had a back to back game on Sunday and they played like a pack of crazy bulls running on the field. They were led by their quarterback, Andy Oldenburg.
In the 1st game, Andy had an outstanding game. He threw for 2 touchdowns, ran for 2 more and displayed his defensive presence by grabbing 2 sacks. He was a monster on the field like the hulk.....don't get him angry!
In the 2nd game, he continued his onslaught in an epic game that went into overtime. Unfortunately, they came up short losing 55-54 in overtime. But nonetheless, an amazing run and great game play the whole season for Andy Oldenburg, this week's player of the week.

Mitch Karnes is much like Benadryl...just give it time, it will always work. Mitch isn't the fastest player on the team, but he is always there when his team needs him.
In the championship game, he made some great stops and great plays. He pulled 5 flag pulls, 3 receptions, 1 touchdown (it got called back because of an inadvertent whistle) and he was there cheering his team on from the side line whenever he wasn't playing.
He gives that look to his fellow teammates when you know you made a mistake much like Jordan did with his run with the Bulls. This look inspires his teammates to play harder and better. Much like Benadryl, just give Mitch some time and he will come through. Congratulations to this week's player of the week, Mitch Karnes.
