Summer Softcore Kickball at Irving Park Thursdays

Normally dual player of the weeks are frowned upon but in this case it seems appropriate. Michelle and Charlie showed how to hit the cut off man from the outfield but maybe not in the way they wanted. On a deep fly ball Charlie raced back to field it and decided it would be best to kick it in and when doing so he kicked the ball right into Michelle. Thankfully no injuries occurred and everyone had a good laugh.

Starting off the game right, playing the team 'theme' song the Origanl Shakers were ready to get moving. Amanda was taking care of her team with walk up music and inning filling songs.
Adding some nice kicks/bunts and hustle she had a heck of a game. Keep up the teamwork and mojo Rump Shakers. Nice playing!

Fornelli ir 'Itsilins Stallion' as his teammates might say, was in his game today. Playing outfield he contributed to all three outs for 2 innings.!?
Aside from the stellar defense Dar added some bug kicks and hustle around the bases. All hustling and smiling he had a nice game.

Starting out on the mound Mike was ready to pitch and make plays. And plays he made. Making the play of the day with a kick to first to get the runner.
Adding some big catches, with hustle his defense was on. Though he did strike out, he added some kicks and scored too. Nice game and attitude.

Last game of the regular season and Kickball Team were ready and motivated, even if they had 7 players. Covering the field as much as 7 can, nice plays were made.
Megan had the play of the night, fielding a hard line kick at second, regrouping and making a close peg out to get the runner at 1st. Even better was the reaction. Nice work!

First night of playoffs and 4th base came ready to score. Not only scoring but they were having fun while doing it. Ladies were dancing and shaking in the field, dugout and box.
Jane was on it with the moves, plays and smiles. Getting on base, waiving to the team and continuing to hustle. They made it all the way in my book. Nice season team.
