After sitting out the first week of the season, Kicks and Giggles came prepared to play on Saturday. They got on the scoreboard early and with great defense were able to maintain their lead. It looked as though Blue Balls was going to make a late inning surge in the 6th with the bases loaded and one out when a sinking line drive was snagged out of the air by the fingertips of left fielder Laura Foltyn who then proceeded to double up the advancing runner at 2nd squashing any hopes for a comeback. Great job Laura and congrats to Kicks and Giggles on their first win of the summer season!

Player Of The Week - Keith Kessinger

Keith was a leader on the field even with a torn up quad muscle. He played catcher and kicked like a champ even turning singles into doubles. His chatter with opposing batter was not only classic but fun for all as he made the day that much more entertaining with his gamesmanship. For his efforts, Keith Kessinger is our Player Of The Week.

This Day was a goood one for Kicks and Giggles, Brian Day that is. It was a great day for kick ball and Brian made a great catch in the outfield.
The offensive player kicked a blast high in the air; Brian ran it out, then he stopped, dropped, and rolled as he made the catch because he was on fire. Good catch Brian!
