Summer Softcore Co-ed Kickball at Alberta Parks Monday

In one of the best games of the summer, Miguel Ferris led The Glue Factory to victory over the Dropkick Smurfys at Alberta Park on Monday. In a back and forth, hard fought battle, Miguel and his laser arm helped squelch an offense that was consistently answering the call all night long. This truly was the type of game you hate to see either team lose. But in the end, Miguel made sure the Glue Factory ended up in the win column while demonstrating sportsmanship towards his teammates and foes alike. Well done sir, well done!

Kickin' Balls and Taking Names showed up on Monday ready to play not just one game but two. In their first matchup Matt Kolansinski made out after out in 2 consecutive innings and helped stop a late rally by the Glue Factory in the 7th to help push his team to a 9-8 victory. He didn't stop there... In the 2nd game he continued his suffocating presence stopping any prolonged rally by You Look Like I Need Another Drink in a 9-7 win. 2 great games in 2 hours for 2 wins, nice job Matt!

In the defensive matchup of the week, Lindsay Godfrey helped spur You Look Like I Need Another Drink on to victory in a 5-2 win over What's My Name? Throughout the game, Lindsay locked down right field like she owned it and she did it with style making tough plays look routine, all while wearing a smile on her face. Way to make it look so easy Lindsay!
