Exceptional Sportsmanship
No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Our Indy #V50 team repeatedly kept up their spirits, even when continuously interrupted with balls from a neighboring court. Indy# V50 truly embodied the Underdog spirit with their attitude and love for the game of volleyball. For increasing the fun had by all, Indy# V50 is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

Levi was a true X-factor at Wookie in his game this week. Proving the old adage that some people just have “it,” Levi was on another level during his game. Decked out in his best onesie , Chewy(Levi) outran, outjumped, and outperformed the competition, which paved the way for some pretty stellar floor action and one armed saves. For gracing all in attendance with his natural athletic ability, Levi is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Mohammad repeatedly gave it everything he had tonight, even when the Underdog lady came by and said I’m sorry but for safety you have to wear shoes to play, he didn’t bat an eye just ran and grabbed his dress shoes from the sideline. Mohammad kicked some serious butt out there on the court tonight, and I’m pretty sure it was in part because of his sweet fancy kicks. For increasing the fun had by all, Mohammad is our Player of the Week. Congratulations!

On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when the Purtells of Ace Inhibitors transcended Volleyball with their precision. Confidently, the Ace Inhibitors turned to Chris and Lindsay when they ran a play. Time and time again, the Purtells answered the call, recording point after point along the way proving that practice does in deed pay off. For their dedication to performance in the playoffs, the Purtells are the Players of the Week! Congratulations!
