Winter Co-ed Big Turkey Bowling at Hollywood Sundays

What a night! Semi-finals round between Holy Rollers and Split Happens was a lot of X and /'s. Eric from Split Happens earned SIX strikes in a row while Austin, not to be outdone, earned SIX spares in a row. Alas, it came down to team vs. team and Holy Rollers was on a roll with individual spares and strikes, putting them ahead over Split Happens. Over on lanes 29 and 30 Third Strikes a Charm and Pinguins were in a tight race--a mere 29 pins kept Third Strikes a Charm from advancing to the finals, where Pinguins met the Holy Rollers and Holy Rollers took the title of Sunday Night League Champs!

Pinguins took second place but also kept their title of Sunday Night Spirit Champs--even Pinford was rocking out! Rightfully so and deservedly earned. Way to go Pinguins! Where am I going to get my weekly dose of jokes from, now?

It was a tight race during the 10th frame of the Game 1 between Thunder Muffins and Spare Us. Thunder Muffins were the first to get a No Tap, but by the 10th frame it was tit-for-tat (or rather tip-for-tap); for every No Tap coupon earned by Thunder Muffins, Spare Us responded by earning one as well. Since only one winner could be crowned, it was Thunder Muffins who pulled out on top, doubling Spare Us' No Tap coupons to be declared No Tap Champs. Way to go Thunder Muffins!
