Robert selflessly gave up the opportunity to play with his team in their first week to help out another team who needed players. No matter how intense the competition, there should always be room for sportsmanship in any game. Dawn repeatedly showed her nerves of steel, even when she had an awful knee injury during the game she wanted so badly to be back out playing. Each time you think you have him figured out Doug never fails to change up his play. They really should call him the chameleon, but sneak attack sounds much more refined for our purposes.

That’s What She Set
This week player of the week goes to Kyle Arnhart from That’s What She Set. Kyle never has a shortage of fun when he plays volleyball and tonight was no exception. He did a great job for his team in the first round of playoffs. What really stood out for him tonight was smiling and having a great time with the opposing team as well as his own. At one point in the match, he had an opposing blocker giggling and running away from the net. Thank you Kyle for being awesome and increasing the fun had by all. Congratulations on being Player of the Week!

From time to time there is a play so spectacular it earns an entire team player of the week. On this fine Thursday the last day of playoffs, that team is Nice Tips!

I’ve never seen anything like it. Through a brutal round of volley against the Volley Llamas not one, not two, but three players of the Nice Tips dove head first on top of each other to save the play. They were entangled as the ball came back at them again and somehow managed to power through and win the point.
