Spring Softcore Kickball at Westmoreland Wednesdays

Seemingly everywhere, Chardonnay was a force to be reckoned with on Wednesday night! The Ball Ticklers were animated and spirited throughout the game, and Chardonnay embodied that enthusiasm with multiple amazing catches. It was a great affair all around, and the Ticklers definitely know how to bring the energy!

In the vain of Kirk Gibson, Daniel Trad came to the plate barely able to walk. Just like Kirk, he didn't let that stop him. Just like Kirk, he crushed a ball into right field. It wasn't a home run but it was a pretty amazing kick considering his condition. Daniel's never say die attitude overcoming injury when his team needed him embodies the Underdog spirit, and, for this, he is this week's Player of the Week. I also heard somewhere (a few times actually) that the team wasn't as good defensively at first base without him out there : )

Can’t keep ‘los chupacabras’ down, as her skills and speed aren’t hard to stop. Getting on base by kicking grounders and beating out the throws she was steady on producin runs too.
Aside from all the kicks, Andee was playing defense, during a double play, making catches and covering the base. Nice game, hustle and attitude. Keep smiling and dancing in the field.

Final night at Eastmoreland, win or go home. Thistle came ready, making plays, hustling and having fun, which would make for a great night.
Tina was on the mound pitching two complete games, adding several defensive throws and base knocks. It was an all around good game with nice plays. Great playing!
