Having to play and win a semifinal game right before the championship game, Going Hard With A Rubber was prepared and eager to play in the final game of the season. FLY LYCE, who had earned their championship game spot a couple days earlier, was fresh and excited to play again. While both teams were advancing from semifinal wins where they scored double digit runs, this final game was much more focused on the defensive side of their games. We saw plenty of incredible throws for outs--whether it was lasers from third base to first or hitting runners coming home to score. Each team put on a show and had the other oo-ing and ahh-ing at some truly unbelievable plays all game long. When it came down to the end, it was Going Hard that really locked it down and held FLY LYCE scoreless to secure the big win.
