Summer Co-ed Softball at Westmoreland Mon/Tue

Cassie showed up to her match up against Battin' Boujee with see ball, hit ball mindset. She swung at every single pitch in every single at bat, not only getting her money's worth but getting on base a couple times in the process. Cassie was an integral part in Nice ARM's victory and look forward to seeing this continued swing frenzy next week!

You can find Amanda Charles behind the plate for Indy #S8, always with a smile on her face and never a doubt in her mind. I have umpired several of Indy's games and have nothing but good things to say about this team, but Amanda always makes my day when she's behind the plate. Amanda came into the season with an early slump, always on the attack at the plate but simply not getting the results she would have hoped for; but tonight was different. Amanda's swing was flat and compact as she gathered four hits and brought home four RBI's. Well done Amanda! Congratulations on your PoTW Honors!!

Jesse was a big time spark for his team! He started on the mound pitching with some mean curve and finished in the outfield with some nice throws. But it was his bat and energy which made for a special day. He was crushing the ball to left field and always hustling for the extra base. A spectacular, dusty slide to 3rd was one of the games many highlights! Good luck in the next round!

While Sonia may not wield the heaviest hammer at the plate, she is definitely what Underdog is all about. Even if she's not behind the plate catching while cracking jokes and crafting the perfect playlist on her apple watch, she's always bringing the party. She kept everyone smiling while in the batter's box, sometimes having to hop out just to finish having a laughing fit at the conversation she was having with the opposing team's catcher or the umpire. Even at the end of her double header when her arm was wearing out, her ear to ear smile never faded, as she was always excited to take her place behind or at the plate with a great attitude and plenty of jokes. Keep up the great work, Sonia, and congrats to The Mighty Fine Swines for taking home the title!
