Sarah Ratliff
Sarah Ratliff
Indy #V63
Sarah stepped up tonight subbing for a team that was missing a player, on her first night of the season, then going into another game with her team Indy #V63. Sarah showed her commitment to playing the game, taking a spike to the shoulder that allowed her team to play off it and win the point. Joining a Indy team can be nerve racking, playing with people you don’t know might take some time to feel comfortable. Sarah on the other hand verbally encouraged her teammates and she also communicated the whole time on the court. Shout out to Sarah for going all out on the first night of the season, keep it up!

Consensual Sets
What sportsmanship shown by Kyirsty and her team. Kyirsty really stepped up and was the first volunteer to join the opposing team so they could play 6 versus 6. Even though she was on the opposing team of her own Kyirsty really gave it her all serve after serve. Her team was also playing double that night. Kyirsty continued to play the next game communicating great with her teammate and going after the ball. Kyirsty your awesome for volunteering to help out another team and you had some great volleys going!

Jessica Floum
Jessica Floum
Volley Llamas Bumpin Uglies
Jessica really showed team spirit during the game she had such an amazing positive energy. She was encouraging her teammates when things were down but also praising and giving high-fives for great moves that got them points. Jessica was ready to go after the ball and was able to assist her team in getting the ball over the net after a long volley. Other teams should watch out because once Jessica’s serving arm is warmed up she’s got a killer float ball. This was on display when Jessica had an amazing serve streak that allowed her team to push ahead in points and win the second game. Keep it up!

Amee Finigan
Amee Finigan
Saved By The Ball
Amee is an awesome teammate. During warm up she helped her other teammate by coaching with them on the best way to hold their hands when trying to bump a ball. While on the court Amee does a great job of keeping her eye on the ball. She was able to predict where it would go and had some great digs that assisted her team in getting it back over. She’s a well-rounded player in sets, bumps, and serves but more importantly she is an awesome team player. Amee truly supports her team in the best way, being herself.

Unstopable
The question of the night was "What couldn't Kate Do?". She came ready to win tonight! First game of the night Kate was setting up her teammates for some big plays. Additionally she was solid from behind the serving line. In game two she was even more powerful by making some great hits. But it was her determination that led to diving save plays that sealed key points. Great work Kate and team. Good luck in the Championship!
