Janice was a monster on both offense and defense. That, plus she was her team's spiritual catalyst, keeping everyone energized late into the evening. Oh, and did I mention her team used that energy to put up 35 runs in just 6.5 innings, because that's kind of important.

Alex made a catch in right field that would have made any highlight reel. He stretched out in mid air and with the tip of his glove, caught what was sure to be at least a 3 RBI triple. Way to lay it all out on the line.

The sheer physics it takes to hit a softball into the ground, off homeplate, and back up to the forehead is astounding. Keyla succeeded in her attempt at making her teammates laugh and played on regardless of the lump on her forehead. Congrats Keyla!

The Mashers do just that!
In what was a very spirited victory the Mashers, jumped out to an early lead and then had some fun while cruising to victory.

Jessica Bengston led the way on defense making play after play at second base. Tyson Neuhaus and Patrick Dunford led the way on offense, hitting round trippers from both sides of the plates.

The Mashers are a great team and a great group. The won big but made sure the other team had a great time while it was happening. A fantastic effort on a fantastic Sunday of softball.

On Sunday the sun was out and the action was hot. The 3:30 game was the hottest of the day. Led by Pat Dunford, the Mashers were able to come from behind and defeat a tough Where's My Pitches At team.

On the mound Patrick was able to work the hitters and throw strikes when he needed them. Keeping the hitters off balance most of the game allowed the Mashers to hang in until the big bats came out.

Pat and the Mashers battled tough for a hard fought victory. A beautiful effort on a beautiful Sunday.
