Spring Co-ed Volleyball at Eastmoreland Courts Tuesdays

Player of the Week goes to an awesome captain Kevin B. from Dat Ace Do! This team was on fire this week and it was a group of newbies lead by Kevin. Kevin got a great group of people together and they played like they has played for many season together. Kevin was also making killer plays and the net and acing serves. When he wasn't in the game he was cheering on his teammates. Great work Kevin and all of Date Ace Do!

There is always a player who lifts everyone up and sometimes they lift up the whole gym for a 9 PM game! This week that was Danielle! She comes in each week ready to play and complete and this week was no different. But this week she had that something extra that you need for the late game. All hour long she was cheering on her teammates and laughing, even when the score might not be going their way. Danielle has that Underdog Spirit that just comes natural and she is one heck of a volleyball player. Great work Danielle!

Despite being on court 3, I was able to see Andrew all over the place during both his games last night. I don't know if it was their team's bright red uniforms or maybe his bright red hair but during both games I saw some great plays from both Andrew and the Spike Squad team. They were all communicating with each other on the court and it was obvious they were having fun. I give mad props to them for keeping the energy despite having games back to back. Andrew had great sets, kills, and played impeccable defense throughout. Great job Andrew!
